Coaching from a position of curiosity; often an inspiration and catalyst, his focus is on the client’s agenda and outcomes – enabling individuals and organisations to achieve the success they desire, deal with complexity, and build new pathways of performance, awareness, resilience, authenticity.

Experience And Background

Originally an IT services specialist, Alastair has over 25 years’ experience in multiple functions and sectors, as well as exposure to varied cultures and geographies (Europe, USA, India, Singapore, and Australia), and has over 10 years successful executive, business, and leadership coaching experience.

Clients value Alastair’s down to earth style: straight forward and productive, challenging the status quo, stimulating behavioural growth. Attention, systems thinking, sensitivity, humour, powerful questioning, and collaboration are used to achieve and maximise outcomes.

His approach is non-directive and emergent, using a variety of principles and techniques, and most importantly creating what is appropriate in the moment with the client, and being at ease not knowing.

Encouraging clients’ development, Alastair has a thirst for self-discovery and learning, current interests include: adult development models; how purpose, inspiration and meaning making contribute to success; the application of neuroscience to coaching and change work.

Professional Achievements

With over 2,500 hours coaching, Alastair holds an ICF accredited coaching certification, is an accredited member of the Association for Coaching, and is registered with the BPS (psychometric Level A/B). He also holds UK government security clearance to the highest level of trust.
